AHA Seeking Overturn Regarding Reduced Outpatient Payments

The American Hospital Association and the Association of American Medical Colleges have announced that they will seek a rehearing of their lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Health in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. They seek to overturn a recent order from the court that reversed a district court opinion and would allow reduced payments for hospital outpatient services provided at off-campus provider-based departments.
